No one is pulling at my heartstrings right now. If I had to agree with someone I would choose Sam because he is doing what is right for his country so he will become free, I think it is rude that Sam was acting like that to his father.

Yo, Connor, I'm Kevin. Sorry for responding late:( anyway, back to business. I have to second your thought Connor. I believe that what Sam is doing is the right way to defend human rights. Although he was rude to his father, I still support the fact that he is defending what he believes. His father may have experienced war, but he probably does not know the true meaning of why he's in combat. This is MY opinion.
well that's all i got now. peace out:)

He is saying that fighting will never solve any problems. For example Mr. Meeker and Sam were arguing they should have calmed down and settle it calmly, and Sam might not have run away. What I think about this chapter is it was good. I found out the reason Sam is fighting, but I change my mind about who I agree with I would agree with Mr. Meeker because he makes a good point about war.

A. Yes, because maybe Father would for give and won't be mad at him and would become friends and more like father and son. B. I think Betsy's like a messenger to Tim telling him when Sam is coming or when Sam was got there. My opinion of Betsy is that she is a nosy person and doesn't care about anyone. C. I think I would I fare fine because I already do a lot of work but somethings I would not do so well with. D. There is nothing that caught my attention but one thing did. That Sam was coming back it took him a while so it got me thinking that maybe Sam was wounded worse dead. E. Sean I would not agree with because they might makeup. I also don't agree with you on Betsy's role I think she is a spy for all of the Patriots.

Tim and his father- it seems like Tim's father doesn't see him like a son but more like a worker Sam and his father- they always fight like enemies Sam and Betsy- I think that they are really good friends Sam and Tim- They have a really close relationships but the gun messed up that a little

1. That Tim is thinking he didn't hear much about so he didn't know whether it matter to him. He also saw his dad get held up by a Patriot for his Brown Bess. He hears his dad says that war doesn't solve anything . Also the war hasn't done anything to the people who live there I mean the taxes went up that was it. 2. I think that is saying that someone is turning different sides. For example Tim hears his Dad talking about the loyalist, and his brother talk about the Patriots. He was on his brothers side it seemed like so far but after seeing his father al most getting killed he might change sides. 3. That he is some type of messenger for the army to send them supplies or something for them. He also might be a spy for the Loyalist or Patriots. One thing that I think is bad is that the so called business letter might be a lot more than that. it could be spy letters or false letters for one of the armies.

Connor, what were you doing in class yesterday? You were supposed to answer the questions for chapter 6. Everyone else did, what were you doing?

Yes, War and life is never fair because anything can happen in life and in war. War is life so if someone dies someone dies inside that happens in life. Yes people have an obligation if you live in a village or a country. I think Life can go on living his life even though those things happen he goes on just living his life.

What I think happen to Mr. Meeker is that he did not die but captured by the cowboys or the army. This will affect Tim because one he will have to do more work. Another is that if someone tries to rob them or steal something he won't be able to stand up to the person or people. My emontional response to this chapter was scared for Tim that he was walking with his father to New York. That is saying that he doesn't know why we are fighting for our freedom because they felt free all along that all the rules did not affect them really bad but maybe it just didn't affect Tim because he is a boy

My emontional responce for this chapter is i feel bad for Mrs. Meeker and Tim because they lost a love one. I also feel bad for them because Sam won't come home to help them when they need it most.
