What is freedom of press? It is one part of the 1st amendment. The freedom of press is the freedom to publish things such as in print, on a radio, or through television without punishment based on what is said. However, this freedom stays in the boundaries of liberty. Liberty is the right to do as one pleases without defying other people's rights and defying government boundaries. Thus, the freedom of press goes pretty far without condemnation to a certain, valid point. This freedom allows the people to express themselves without fear of what the government will do to them if they don't agree with the values and opinions expressed.
