The right to assemble allows groups to join together, perform marches and, hold a rally. The only times this right is in void is if the group plans to perform violent actions against others. This means even if the rally incites hate crimes its allowed. To find out more go to http://www.bayheadschool.org/groups/constitution/wiki/7f14d/Craig__Freedom_to_Assemble.html

I was impressed by Jessica's page on the Freedom of the Press. She used a great example that included two well known groups, The New York Times and president Nixon. They were at conflict with one another because The New York Times published articles pertaining criticism of Nixon. This shows how The New York Times printed articles against the federal government but could not be prosecuted because they were protected by the Freedom of the Press. This means not even the president cannot override the importance of the constitution and its amendments. The link also was highly informative giving both the case and additional information.
