The first amendment of the United States protects several freedoms. For my assignment I am learning more about freedom of press. When the media prints or publishes something without governmental interference, they are exercising their rights spelled out in the Constitution. Relating to freedom of speech, it gives media the rights to report on anything from government to the lives of celebrities uncensored. However, there are certain restrictions.
