Alex's amending the constitution

The amendment that I have is the 5th amendment of the constitution. This amendment is about self defending within criminal cases. For example, if you have committed a crime and sent to court, you have the right to deny that you did commit a crime. The court has no right to rule you within telling the truth, it is your decision to state whether or not you did commit a crime http://www.essortment.com/all/mirandavsarizo_roui.htm The court case I found that reguards the 5th amendment is the case of Miranda vs. Arizona which was in March of 1963. This case deals with a man named Ernesto Miranda who was arrested at his home in Arizona for committing a crime. After Miranda was brought to the police station, he was interrogated by severel policemen. These policemen did not state that Miranda had the right to say anything to deny his case. So after being questioned over a long time, Miranda eventually became guilty of the crime. So to sum this up, Miranda was not told that he had the right to deny his crime and to say he did not do anything illegal. The police officers were at fault since they did not notify him, and later, the "Miranda Rights" were established. The Miranda Rights state that the criminal has either the "right to remain silent, and any words or statements, can and will be used against you." Now all police officers must say that while they are holding the person who committed a crime. That is my court case.
