THE BUS RIDE The bus ride to PEEC was very fun. We all sat down and the Lavallette kids were already on the bus. Right away, Hailey and I were talking to all them. I mostly talked to Kayla, Jasmine, Bryce, Josh, James, Connor, and Trinity. By the end of the bus ride, we all knew each other pretty well. When two hours went by, I was very anxious to get to PEEC. I was looking forward to the three days in front of me. The bus ride home from PEEC was even more fun because we all knew each other so well. There was also snacks being handed out, and I was a little anxious to get home and see my family and other friends, but I was very happy to have experienced my time at PEEC. When the bus ride was over, hugs were all over the place! The bus rides were a very fun art of the trip.

TEAM BUILDING The team building exercises were very fun. A good part about it was everyone had to work together. That was a big part of the activities. Another important hint for team building was to listen to everybody's ideas. The most fun challenge I think was trying to get eight people on that small block. A trick about it though was that only one person could talk at a time, and they had to hold the "talking stick". Another fun challenge was trying to get everyone through the electrical spider web without touching the ropes. Although, we had three "aids" which were basically three extra lives if someone hit the rope. It was a challenge, but we managed to do it with some tall and some short helpers in the group. Everything in the team building was a challenge, but we managed to work together and get through everything.

TWO PONDS TRAIL The two ponds trail was very fun. After we finished the team building, we went for this hike around these two big ponds. it was the first day, so no one was exactly used to the walking, but we managed to get through. It was really cool seeing all the stuff we would be seeing the next two days like newts, interesting plants, weird bugs, and much more. It was a good start to all the hiking we would be doing. It was like a warm-up to all the other hikes we took!

CONFIDENCE COURSES The confidence courses were a fun experience. Everyone got to test their ability with balance and the confidence they have in themselves. We had to cross this big log that was hanging so it would shake. We also had to cross across a thin wire holding on to all different sized ropes. The hardest I think, was walking on a thin wire, holding on to a rope and walking out as far as possible, but as you walked farther the rope wasn't as close so it shook a little bit and you would fall. Also, we had to cross a bunch of swings and stay balanced. When we were down with all those, you had to find a partner and cross two wires with your hands touching going sideways. Throughout them all, everyone had fun and showed some confidence.

WILD LIFE STUDY The wild life study was very fun. We got to play a game where some people were the deer, some were the habitat, and one or two were the wolves. Eventually, all the deer were gone because the wolves ate them. Then the wolves didn't have anything to eat because all the deer died. Not only was it fun, but it taught us about the animals in nature. Also, the wild life in general there was very pretty. When we took hikes we found very cool views with mountains and green land everywhere. There were cute orange newts all over and creepy bugs!

BONFIRE The bonfire was a little campfire set up late at night. We got to roast marshmallows then make them into s'mores. It was fun, everyone got to sit around on wooden benches by the fire, and just talk. It was another good way to get to know everyone the first night. The s'mores were very yummy[:

CANOEING Canoeing was a great time. Nicole, Jasmine, Jenna, and I were all in a canoe together. Josh, Connor, and James kept trying to hit us but they all succeeded once because we got away. At one point, our canoe, James's canoe, and the other girl canoe, all came together, holding boats, and tried hitting the other boy boat. We hit them and trapped them in the grassy dew. It was funny. We also just tried going as fast as we could to beat the boys. Overall, it was very enjoyable.

ORIENTEERING Orienteering was challenging. We split into four groups and each one got a compass with a map. Jasmine, Nicole, and I didn't get lost, but we went a little farther then the mark. Once we saw the road, we turned around and kept walking until we found it. A couple teams got lost but found there way back.

THE STREAM STUDY The stream study was really interesting. The only bad part about it, was the hike we had to take to get to the stream was like two miles there and back. It was tiring. On the other hand, it was very fun. We got to get plastic spoons and find cool bugs and water animals. Jenna found a little frog. A lot of people found millipedes and centipedes. In order to find a lot of the bugs and creatures, we had to look hard. We looked under rocks, and in little holes. It was a fun experience that we also learned certain species of bugs and how to find certain creatures in streams.

FOSSIL TRAIL The fossil trail was when we all (not in our two groups) went for a long hike. During this hike, many of the boys found newts and named them "Fig", "Fig's Lady", "Fig 1", "Fig 2", etc. Also, we learned about this big whole with a cement wall around it, that cows used to live in like 1000 years ago. Everyone got to ran up this big hill and we all took a big picture of the Lavallette and Bay head kids together. It was fun, and a little tiring.

ZELENKA Mr. Zelenka's visit was probably my favorite part of the trip. He brought many animals. The chinchilla was very fluffy and soft. Some of the snakes were kind of creepy, but they were really cool. It was funny watching Sydne get wrapped with one! All the little bugs, tarantulas, and spiders he brought were a little gross, but interesting. The lizards were really cool, and i liked the big iguana the best. The green tree snake was really pretty. It was lime green and really thin. The alligator at the end was fun to end with. It had a little blanket(: There was also a little poisonous frog that had really pretty colors, royal blue with black polka dots. All the animals were so cool and very interesting to see their behaviors. Also, I realized that Mr. Zelenka came to my house for my 5th birthday! Hailey also fell asleep during it which we got a picture of!

ASTRONOMY The astronomy part was when we learned about the planets and stars of our galaxy. In the beginning, we learned about stars where we had to read facts in silly ways. Then Jasmine and I had to act out the life of a star: Stellar Nursery, Normal Star, Red Super Giant, Supernova Explosion, Black Hole, then back to the Stellar Nursery, but the smaller stars have different lives: Stellar Nursery, Normal Star, Red Giant, White Dwarf, Black Dwarf, then back to the Stellar Nursery. It was all very interesting. Then we spent the next half of astronomy making planets out of little clay balls. It was interesting to see the difference in size. Saturn and Jupiter were around the same size. Then Neptune, Uranus, Earth, Venus, Mars, Mercury, and Pluto. We also found out (if we didn't know) that Pluto isn't even a planet! It was all really fun to learn about our atmosphere.

NIGHT HIKE The night hike was so much fun. We got to do really cool activities. The first thing we did was stand in a circle and each got a marker then wrote on the piece of paper what we thought our color was. When we were done, we would see what color it really was out in the light. I had wrote down green, but it was really blue. Then we all stood in a circle and stared at the persons head across from us. Eventually, it disappeared. We kept walking then stopped and each got a mint. Everyone got to look around as everyone bit the life savers with their mouths open. The life savers kept sparking since it was dark. We kept walking and then did a hike by ourselves. It was fun! Then we learned why pirates put one eye patch on. It was because if in the middle of the night someone raided there boat, they could go up on deck and rip off the eye patch. Now they would have much better night vision then the other eye so they could see. Overall, the night hike was really cool. We also got to listen to all the sounds and things out at night.

TUMBLING WATERS Tumbling waters was one of my favorites! The hike wasn't that bad, except when we had to run up all the stairs. The waterfall was SO pretty. The best part was when we got to look down at that waterfall because we were basically on top. It was really fun to walk around the rocks and on the beach by the water. We all had a fun end to our trip before getting on the bus!

CABINS The cabins were actually much better then I thought. I slept on a top bunk by the back right. I slept on the top and next to me was Hailey. The other side was Kayla. There was no one under me because there was enough room for everyone. The bed was pretty comfortable. At night, Hailey and I's singing was AMAZING! The showers were actually fun too. Hailey, Sydne, Kayla, and I all got in bathing suits and took a shower party. It was really fun.

LAVALLETTE The Lavallette kids were all really nice. I grew close to a couple including Kayla, Lily, Jasmine, Stefano, Kyle, and a couple others. I already knew Josh so it was good to get to know him more. Also, the teachers were very nice. I'm so glad I got to meet all them because I will be sharing my high school experiences with them. I am also so glad I got to spend my time at PEEC with them. It was such a fun trip and I can't wait for Boston next year[:
