May 2018 Principal’s Report

Dear Bay Head Elementary School Community,

Let me be the first to say Welcome Back to School!  And, if this is your first year at Bay Head Elementary, Welcome to our school.  I feel both honored and privileged to be in my fourth year acting as the BHS Principal.

As many of you already know, my name is Frank Camardo, and this will mark my 18th year in education.  My teaching experiences have included elementary grades, middle school language arts, special education and work as a reading specialist. I must say that I chose to come to Bay Head because of the extraordinary teachers, staff and students that make up this school district.  Also, being a school voted #1 for student performance is very impressive and I knew instantly that I wanted to be part of this school community.  I want you to feel welcome to stop by school whether it’s to volunteer, have lunch with your child or simply to say hello.

I believe that it is extremely important for your child to know their school administrators, and I will work hard to make sure that happens.  You will frequently find me at lunch with the students, or in classrooms throughout the school.  I hold myself accountable for being a visible presence in the hallways, cafeteria, and classrooms as well as at recess.

My hope is that you and your child will find me both approachable and easy to speak to and that you won’t hesitate to contact me if you ever have questions, concerns, or just want to share good news about your child or about our school.

I would like to close by once again by telling you how much I look forward to working with the parents, students and staff at Bay Head Elementary School.  Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children each day.  I am truly honored.

Educationally Yours,

Mr. Frank J. Camardo
