This spring, your child will participate in New Jersey’s statewide assessments. Please read the attached letter for more information about the dates and formats of each assessment.

I wanted to make you aware that we are currently seeing multiple cases of confirmed flu among students in the lower wing (grades K–4). While this is common during this time of year, we want to do our best to keep our school community healthy and limit the spread of illness. Please help us by keeping your child home if they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, persistent cough, or generally not feeling well. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the health office. Thank you, Mrs. Sierotko.

This is a reminder that the fourth and final tuition payment for the 2025-2026 school year is due on March 1, 2026. All tuition for the 2025-2026 school year should be paid in full no later than March 1, 2026. If you haven’t already done so, please remit payment.

The Student Council is selling lucky grams for $2 cash. Each gram will include a Lucky Wristband and the message below. Please return with your money attached by 3/10/26. They will be delivered on Friday 3/13/26! Return to Mrs. Galarza.

Please be advised that there is a confirmed case of Strep Throat in the upper wing (5th-8th). There is a possibility that your child may have been exposed to strep throat. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms, please contact his/her physician. Please contact the Nurse’s office at 732-892-0668 ext. 3201 if your child is diagnosed with a strep infection. If diagnosed, the child should remain out of school until antibiotics have been started and the child is fever-free for 24 hours. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

Student Council will be hosting a Winter Dance on Friday February 27th from 6:30-9pm in the BHS Gymnasium. The cost is $5 and it is limited to only BHS students in grades 5 through 8. Please see the permission slip attached.
