LTS COVID Testing Clinic at Bay Head

We are pleased to announce that beginning on Friday, May 13, 2022, Bay Head School will begin offering on most Fridays free weekly COVID-19 testing from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. to its staff and students. The New Jersey Department of Health has arranged for the LTS COVID Testing Team to administer the testing at our school. Screenagers: Growing Up in The Digital Age Documentary at Lavallette

The Lavallette School is extending an invite to the Bay Head School Community. The documentary, Screenagers: Growing Up in The Digital Age, is appropriate for students in 4th-8th grades and their parents. The film reveals how tech time impacts kids’ development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance. “Screenagers” will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 5:00-6:30 PM at Lavallette Elementary School. Ocean County College Summer Camps

This summer OCC will be hosting several Summer Camps for Elementary, Middle and High School students. Click on this announcement to view all the flyers and different camps being offered. Geometry Flyer

Point Pleasant Beach High School will offer a hybrid Geometry course over the summer for graduating 8th graders. Please see the flyer attached for more information.

Wellness Day Permission Slip

On Friday, May 6th students in grades 5-8 will be participating in Wellness Day for the duration of the school day. Students will have regularly scheduled lunch and recess. Weather permitting, many activities will be outside so make sure your child dresses appropriately. Please also ensure that your child wears comfortable, athletic clothing and sneakers, and send your child with a beach towel to sit on while outside. The students will have the opportunity to learn about various topics and try activities that may be new to them. Click on this announcement to download and complete the permission slip.

Therapy Dogs Visit

On Friday April 29, 2022, Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs will be visiting Bay Head Elementary School. There will be 1-2 volunteers per class that will visit Grades K-8 and explain how they became therapy dogs and their special talents. These dogs regularly visit schools, hospitals, libraries and work with students on reducing stress and anxiety.

Final Tuition Payment Due

This is a reminder that the final tuition payment for the 2021-2022 school year was due on March 1, 2022. If you haven’t already done so please remit payment. Please note that contracts for the 2022-2023 school year will not be sent until all tuition for the 2021-2022 school year is paid in full.
