With flu season upon us, I want to remind everyone to be mindful of illnesses going around. We do have a number of students absent with respiratory illnesses with fever right now, and several confirmed cases of the Influenza virus. Due to the uptick in illnesses, the custodial staff will be implementing additional cleaning

The Penny Races are back! We will be donating all money earned to the charity "A Moment to Smile", which helps kids who have lost a parent to the disease of addiction. Bring in coins to earn points for your class (pennies, dimes, nickels, and quarters) the week of October 24th. The winning class will receive a class-wide prize.

Taco Tuesday is back! Complete the form and return to Mrs. Galarza before Thursday November 3rd (cash only).

The annual Bay Head School Trunk or Treat will take place on Friday October 28th from 6pm-7:30pm. Get those costumes on and come on out to the back parking lot at BHS to have some Halloween Trick or Treat fun!

The Student Council will be selling Spooky Pops will be during lunch on October 27th and 28th.

Next week is School Violence Awareness Week! Please refer to the attached calendar to participate in spirit days to show a united front against school violence.

This fall Coach O'Connor and Coach Murphy will be continuing our Saturday Sports program. This 6 week program allows students in grades PreK-4 (minimum age of 4 years old) to participate in a fun introduction to soccer, starting on Saturday October 8th on the BHS Soccer Fields. The Bay Head School is pleased to announce that our annual Sea Week will be held next week starting Monday, September 26th-September 30th. Attached is a detailed schedule of events and the permission slip.

Walking Wednesday will start tomorrow 09/21/2022. Meet us at the Town Clock between 7:30-7:45am as we march together to school!
